The RTP covers the following costs:
- Full tuition fees
- Accommodation
- A stipend of $27,596 per year
- Medical insurance
- Airfare
- Reimbursement of up to $420 for Master’s students and up to $840 for Ph.D. students for research expenses
- Paid maternity leave
To be eligible for the RTP, you must:
- Be a citizen of any country other than Australia
- Have a bachelor’s degree with first or second-class honors from the University of Sydney or another accredited institution.
- For a Ph.D., you must also have demonstrated prior research experience and capability.
To apply for the RTP, you must submit the following documents:
- Previous degree transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- A research proposal
- A letter of acceptance from a supervisor at the University of Sydney
- A CV or resume
- A TOEFL or IELTS score
- Other relevant documents
